IPCOMM Connected-car technology serves two main functions:
Connected-car integrates mobile Access Point (mAP) which aggregates the data from multiplicity of car sensors and communication from multiplicity of individual users within the car (individual infotainment, communication, navigation, etc.) and sends such data over a shared communication link to 3G/4G/5G infrastructure
Allows seamless integration of car with the functionality of a smart home - example of such integration: control of smart-home functionality by integrating car Telematic Control Unit with a smart-home controller (Alexa, etc.), or to integrate the communication between the user's phone and car into the user's daily schedule and navigation system with the samrt-home control functionality
The connacted car funcitonality is based on the US Patents: 9,647,759; 9,031,605; 9,210,271 all now available for license or divestment
- Providing multi-user connectivity, such as: infotainment; telematics; etc. between car and 3G/4G/5G wireless communication network
- Provide connectivity between car and smart-home funtionality
